TOWSON, Md. - The 2012-13 Tiger Club annual campaign is underway and will run through June 30, 2013.  The Tiger Club is the principal fundraising arm of Towson University Athletics.  It provides a way for individuals to help talented student-athletes receive a quality education from Towson University while reaching their goals during athletic competition. 

Last year, the Tiger Club recorded over 1,600 donors raising roughly $765,000.  Of those donors, 589 were former student-athletes recording an all-time high for former student-athlete membership in the Tiger Club. This year's campaign will focus on two main goals: raising $1.2 million for Towson Athletics as well as reaching 2,013 donors in 2013.  "Private support is a vital part of our student-athletes' success," said Director of Athletics, Mike Waddell. "We need to remain committed to building excellence by growing the base of Tiger Club members with the purpose of putting Tiger student-athletes in the best position to achieve both in the classroom and in competition."

Based on the level of support, Tiger Club members receive special benefits (see benefits chart) tied to the program including hospitality at football and basketball home games, preferred parking access, invitations to special events, and much more.  Most importantly, donors help support the educational and athletic experiences of the 500 plus Towson University student-athletes. 

Tiger Club members also receive priority points with each contribution which help determine reserved parking locations, away game ticket availability, and seating preference for athletics events.  For more information on the priority point system, please click here.  In order to retain priority on football season tickets, parking and hospitality, gifts should be made at the appropriate level prior to August 10, 2012.
