TOWSON, MD— Towson Athletics will celebrate the women’s lacrosse team’s 2012 Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) championship on Friday, Oct. 26, 2012 at 6 p.m. at the Sheraton Baltimore North in Baltimore, Md. The Tigers’ 8-7 win over James Madison in late April clinched the team’s fourth CAA title since 2005.

Fans of the 2012 CAA Women’s Lacrosse Champion Towson University Women’s Lacrosse Team can join the coaches, student-athletes and staff at a cocktail hour, guest speaker, dinner, ring and award presentation.

“We’re excited about the accomplishments of our 2012 season and before we look to build on this success, I want the student-athletes to embrace their achievements. We hope everyone is able to come out and celebrate the hard work and dedication that resulted in a championship season”, Head Coach, Sonia LaMonica.

Tickets for the event can be purchased for $50 and a portion of the ticket cost will be credited as a tax-deductible gift to the women’s lacrosse program.

The attire for the evening is business formal.  Pre-registration is REQUIRED.  Please R.S.V.P. no later than Monday, October 22, 2012.
