TOWSON, Md. - With the 2012-13 basketball season rapidly approaching, the Towson men’s basketball program is set to hold its first ever Tip-Off Luncheon. The event, which will be hosted by the Tiger Club, is being held at the Renaissance Baltimore Hotel in downtown Baltimore on November 7 at 12 p.m.

The Tip-Off Luncheon provides the chance for alumni, donors and fans of the Tiger men’s basketball program to gather in support of the program. Head coach Pat Skerry will preview the upcoming season and all the exciting happenings surrounding Towson men’s basketball.

“This should be a great event leading into a big year for our program,” said Skerry. “I always enjoy having the chance to talk to our supporters and being able to update them on all the exciting new happenings with our team. This is the first time we’ve put on an event like this, and I’m really pumped about it.”

The Renaissance Hotel Baltimore is located on 202 East Pratt Street in the inner harbor.  The luncheon will take place in the Maryland Ballroom of the hotel. Parking will be available at the hotel and its surrounding locations.
