RICHMOND, Va. - After winning both the one and three-meter diving competitions Saturday against William & Mary, Towson senior diver Alex Cohen was selected as the Colonial Athletic Association Men's Diver of the Week, it was announced by CAA officials.
"It’s a great start for him. We didn’t hold back and we’re starting where we left off last year," Towson diving coach Maureen Mead said.
In his season debut against the Tribe, Cohen scored 270.95 points in the one-meter dive and 281.75 points in the three-meter competition.
Cohen, who holds both the one-meter (298.60 points) and three-meter (318.45) Towson diving records, has been among the best divers in the conference throughout his career. He won multiple CAA weekly awards last season.
