APALACHIN, N.Y. - Three different Towson University golfers shot 74 on Monday as the Tigers wrapped up play at the Binghamton Fall Invitational.
Led by Joe Gunerman's ninth-place finish, Towson finished sixth in the 16-team field. Gunerman, Ken Jee and Ryan Siegler all tied for the low round of the day for the Tigers.
Gunerman's two-day score of 147 netted him his first top 10 finish of the year. Jee placed 22nd, while junior Matt Fry ended in a tie for 31st after posting a 79 on Monday.
Freshman Alex Church improved during his second round of play, carding a 76 for the Tigers.
Ujo Coussaud led Laval University to the team victory by finishing with a four-under-par 140, the top individual score. Saint Peter's and Hofstra tied for second with a 598, 12 strokes back of Laval University. Bucknell (600) and Binghamton (601) narrowly edged the Tigers for a top five finish.
