TOWSON, Md. - Here are 10 things everyone should know before the Tigers host Maine on Saturday night.

1) The Towson defense ranks first in the Colonial Athletic Association by allowing 282 total yards per game.

2) The Tigers' offense ranks second in NCAA FCS by averaging more than 34 minutes in time of possession.

3) Quarterback Marcus Wasilewski of Maine is third in the Colonial Athletic Association in total offense.

4) Senior wide receiver Tom Ryan of Towson needs only four more catches to become the 20th player in school history with 100 career receptions.

5) Until Towson's 40-30 win over Maine last season, the Black Bears had beaten the Tigers five times in a row.

6) Maine has won six of the 10 meetings between the Tigers and the Black Bears.

7) Sophomore Terrance West leads the Tigers with seven touchdowns scored.

8) Towson has won eight of its last 10 Colonial Athletic Association games. 

9) Sophomore cornerback Tye Smith ranks ninth among CAA defensive backs with 32 tackles. 

10) Towson ranks 10th in turnover ratio in the CAA with a minus-nine ratio.
