Good morning Tiger Nation and welcome to the Morning Roar.

Let’s Unleash the Roar

If you are a true Tiger fan than you know Thursday is one of the best days of the week because of Tiger Talk. The weekly talk show hosted by Spiro Morekas and Damon Lewis returns to the Towson Sports Network for another episode. This week's guests include @Towson_MLAX head coach Shawn Nadelen and @Towson_MBB head coach Pat Skerry. Join us at Bateman's from 6-7 p.m. or catch the show live on TowsonTigers.com or using the Towson Tigers app on your smart phone or tablet.

It was announced that Towson University Athletics has extended its relationship with Under Armour for an additional five years. So that means that we can continue to “Protect This House!” Tiger Nation!

Hardwood Talk

Last night @Towson_MBB put it’s three-game win streak on the line against Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) foe William & Mary inside the Towson Center. Going into the half both teams were tied at 28 (because a dunk attempt by Marcus Damas at the buzzer was reviewed and ruled no good). The Tribe came out of the intermission swinging. Down 13 with seven minutes to go the Tigers jumped into full court pressure for the first time all season and it worked wonders. Sophomore Kris Walden made one of the most clutch plays I’ve seen in a long time. He looked effortless when he stole the inbounds pass and immediately floated a shot over his defender and tied the game at 68 with 17 seconds on the clock.

One overtime wasn’t enough to settle this one, in the second OT freshman point guard Jerome Hairston made people forget he was a freshman when he started off with five quick points to give the Tigers a lead they would never relinquish. In dramatic fashion the Tigers improved to 3-0 in the CAA for the first time since joining the CAA. Now the Tigers are officially .500, 16 games into the season. Who would have thought?!

Check out highlights and post game comments from the Towson Sports Network.

It is game day for @Towson_WBB when they hit the road to take on Old Dominion in Norfolk, Va. The Tigers are coming off a 76-55 loss on the road to Drexel last Sunday. In that game junior Tanisha McTiller had a career high 28 points to go along with 10 rebounds. The Monarchs enter today’s game 10-3 overall and are lead by Jackie Cook who is averaging 15.8 points per contest.
