TOWSON, Md. - The Towson women's indoor track and field team continues its season on Saturday at the Thomson Invitational hosted by the University of Delaware beginning at 9:30 a.m.Towson is coming off of a fifth-place finish at the Gulden Invitational last weekend at Bucknell.

Seniors Ashley Dabney and Katie Salke led the way for the Tigers at Bucknell, as the 60-meter hurdles event was a success for Towson. The Tigers placed four finishers among the top eight, led by Salke's secon-place finish in 9.03 seconds. Dabney finished sixth for the Tigers in 9.43 seconds, but was also dynamic in the high jump for Towson. Her leap of 5' 4.50" in the event was good for second place overall and earned the Tigers eight of the team's 45 points.

The 60-meter dash was also a success for a pair of Tiger freshmen, as Kaitlyn Davis and Kelsey Fiddes each earned three points for the Tigers with matching 7.89-second times in the final heat of the event. The duo is now tied in the event for the fourth-fastest recorded time in school history.

Classmates Wilhelmina Austin and Katelynn Williams also did well. Austin scored points in the long jump and triple jump, while Williams moved into 10th place all-time in the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 9.20 seconds.
