10 Things To Know About the Towson-Fordham Game

TOWSON, Md. - Here are 10 things you need to know before the No. 5 Tigers host Fordham on Saturday afternoon in an NCAA FCS playoff game.

1-     Terrance West leads the nation (all divisions) with 31 touchdowns scored.

2-     Towson is hosting its second NCAA FCS playoff game in the last three years.

3-     The Tigers ranked third in NCAA FCS with 40 rushing touchdowns.  

4-     Derrick Joseph holds the school record with four career kickoffs returned for touchdowns.

5-     The Tigers have scored five defensive touchdowns this season.

6-     The Tigers started the season with six consecutive wins.

7-     Towson was seeded seventh in the NCAA FCS playoffs.

8-     Saturday's game will be the eighth meeting between Towson and Fordham.

9-     The Tigers have allowed only nine sacks in 12 games. 

10-   This is the fourth time in school history that Towson has won 10 games in a season.
