The Tigers whittled the score down to 12 (51-39) but the Falcons buried a couple of three-pointers to pump the advantage back to 19 (60-41) with 7:36 remaining in the contest.
Erik Marschall’s fast break lay up with 30 seconds left on the game clock gave Bowling Green its biggest lead, 21 points.
Junior Hairston registered his first double-double of the season and the 10th of his career in leading the Tigers with 15 points and 10 rebounds. Brewster matched his career high with 13 points. Darryl Clements led the Falcons with 18 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists.
