The winner of Saturday night’s game is guaranteed a spot in the NCAA Tournament. The NCAA field will be announced on Sunday night at 9 p.m.
The Tigers (15-3) enter Saturday night’s action on a school record nine-game winning streak. That streak includes the team’s fourth CAA championship since 2005 after an 8-7 win over James Madison last Sunday.
Sophomore attacker Andi Raymond leads a balanced scoring attack for the Tigers. She has 60 points on 31 goals and 29 assists this season while redshirt sophomore attacker Ashleigh Rohrback has contributed 23 goals and 20 assists. Senior goalkeeper Mary Teeters has an 8.19 goals against average and a .510 save percentage this season.
Monmouth (9-10) enters Saturday’s game having won six straight including an 11-3 victory over Mount St. Mary’s in Sunday’s Northeast Conference Championship. The Hawks are led by Alex Marino who has 47 points on 33 goals and 14 assists while Sam Lillo has contributed 41 goals and five assists. Katie Donohoe has a 10.63 goals against average and a .438 save percentage.
