TOWSON, Md. - The Towson men’s soccer team will have its “Pink Night” on Wednesday, September 5. The event will take place during the men’s soccer game against Howard at 4 p.m. at the Tiger Soccer Complex. The event is part of the department-wide Pink P.A.W.S. (Proud Athletes Who Serve) initiative, which aims to help raise money and awareness for breast cancer.
In addition to wearing Black & Gold attire, fans are encouraged to wear pink to the game to show support for breast cancer awareness. Members of Zeta Tau Alpha and P.A.W.S. will be in attendance to collect donations to benefit the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
At halftime, the men’s soccer team will be honoring Kim Merriken, an employee in the Towson University Enrollment Services Center and breast cancer survivor.
There is no charge for admission and free parking is available in Lot 19, located directly next to the Tiger Soccer Complex.
