TOWSON, Md. - Former Towson soccer star Andrew Marshall scored the game-winning penalty kick goal for the Harrisburg City Islanders, helping defeat the New England Revolution in the third round of the U.S. Open Cup by a score of 4-3, after a 3-3 draw in regulation.

Marshall (pictured) scored eight points for the Tigers as a senior in 2006 and helped Towson to an undefeated CAA record of 10-0-1, an NCAA Tournament appearance and a No. 15 national ranking.

Current Tiger defender Josh Danza has also been gaining more experience in training with the Puerto Rico National Team in preparation for two friendly matches this week.

Danza, a transfer from Stevenson University, was a 2010 NSCAA All-East region selection for the Mustangs and will be counted on to provide a stabilizing presence to the Tiger back-line.
