At Charles Flowers H.S.: Attended Laurel High School in her freshman year where she was the number one player and captain of the boys' team ... transferred to Charles Flowers in her sophomore year but did not play for the Jaguars until her junior year ... won the individual district title as a junior and finished 7th in the state meet ... the Jaguars won county and district team titles during her two years on the squad ... an injury hampered her play in her senior year when she successfully defended her district title after coming off crutches the day before the event ... she shot a 1-under par 70 to win that championship.
