A Towson graduate, John Latteri serves as the Assistant Athletics Director for the Tiger Club.
Latteri first joined the Tigers as an assistant athletics director for marketing and promotions. He was later named to his current post where he provides direction on the day-to-day operation of the Tiger Club. He also keeps order of the overall scope of work that includes tickets, priority points and special events. His primary charge is to increase membership in the Tiger Club through the annual fund drive.
Prior to his Towson appointment he served as the assistant director of marketing for the United States Naval Academy Athletics Association for several years. At Navy, Latteri developed and executed marketing plans, implemented promotion schedules and created game day timelines and scripts. He also worked with incorporating video board aspects into the game, the "NavyFest" hospitality area at football games, corporate partner accounts and overseeing the marketing internship program.
Earlier Latteri served as the coordinator of promotions and game day activities at his alma mater for four years. For the Tigers, he managed the game day marketing operations for football, volleyball, basketball and lacrosse in addition to working with the corporate partners and overseeing marketing items.
Latteri also worked as a marketing and promotions intern at Navy in 2001.
