Tigers Graduate In Special Ceremony

TOWSON, Md. – Eight graduating members of the Towson University football team received their degrees in a special ceremony at SECU Arena on Wednesday evening.  

The special ceremony was held because the Tiger players will miss the University’s mid-year graduation this weekend because the Tiger football team will be on the road, playing Eastern Washington in the NCAA FCS semi-finals on Saturday afternoon.

The group of eight Tigers who received their degrees included tackles Eric Pike and Randall Harris, guard Anthony Davis and center Doug Shaw . Linebacker Eric Schuster , defensive tackle Arnold Farmer, running back Sterlin Phifer and cornerback Ryan Mays (also graduated.

The eight graduates received their diplomas from University President Maravene Loeschke before a crowd that included friends and family members as well as their teammates.
