TOWSON, Md. - Tiger senior outfielder Ben Winter was recently profiled in The Baltimore Sun following his outstanding career with Towson University.
A third team All-Colonial Athletic Association selection in 2010 after making the league's All-Rookie team as a freshman in 2009, Winter was an excellent defensive player throughout his career. He moved to centerfield in his sophomore season and hit .343 that season, scoring a team-high 55 runs and collecting 79 hits.
In 2012, Winter played his final college season and drove in 28 runs and scoring 25 times.
