TOWSON, Md. - Tiger football welcomes all spectators to Johnny Unitas® Stadium for Fan Day on Saturday, August 11 starting at 1 p.m. All Towson fans will have an opportunity to take pictures and get autographs from the football team in Lot 13, directly in front of Unitas Stadium.
Be a part of history by taking part of the official 2012 Towson football team photo at 2:15 p.m. inside the stadium.
After the meet-and-greet, fans can enjoy videos and music before the Tigers have an open scrimmage starting at 3:45 p.m.
Towson was recently ranked seventh in the nation by the College Sporting News FCS Preseason Top 25 poll.
The Tigers are poised to compete for the Colonial Athletic Association championship. Towson has been ranked as high as fourth in the FCS polls in the pre-season. Tabbed as the CAA pre-season favorites, the Tigers are coming off a season in which they were the most improved team in NCAA Division I football.
Under the direction of Coach Rob Ambrose, the Tigers posted a 9-3 record last season and made their first appearance in the NCAA FCS playoffs.
