TOWSON, Md. - Due to the unprecedented demand for student vouchers, the Towson University Department of Athletics has implemented a plan to ensure that Towson students receive the best customer service possible during the 2012 Tiger football season.

Tiger Athletics will utilize a distribution plan that calls for 3,500 student vouchers and student guest tickets to be made available for pick-up the week prior to the game. Student vouchers and student guest tickets guarantee admission to the game into the Retro Fitness student seating sections where seating is general admission.

As an added feature, the student section will be sponsored by Retro Fitness.  Each student receiving a student voucher will receive a free one day-pass to Retro Fitness.   

Starting on Tuesday, September 4 at 9 a.m., Towson students could pick up one of 3,500 student vouchers to the 2012 home opener against William & Mary, scheduled for Sept. 15 at 12 noon. Vouchers are available for pick up at the Towson Athletics Ticket Office located on the north concourse of Johnny Unitas® Stadium or at the University Union Box Office.

In order to receive vouchers, Towson students must present a valid student I.D. card.

The procedure for the remaining four home games will follow a similar pattern with vouchers available for pickup Monday through Friday in either one of the two established locations.

Students who want to bring guests to any of the Tigers' five home games will be able to purchase up to four guest tickets at $10 each until the allotment of 500 seats are sold out. Based on projected attendance, the Department of Athletics can increase the amount of guest tickets available.

Students purchasing their vouchers online for a $3 convenience fee will have the opportunity to claim your voucher immediately. The online vouchers must be picked up no later than Friday at 4:30 p.m. the day before the game at either the University Union box office or the Towson Athletics Ticket Office in the north concourse at Johnny Unitas® Stadium.

Any student vouchers not picked up prior to game day will be distributed at Gate C of Johnny Unitas® Stadium starting 90 minutes prior to game time.  Based on the projected attendance, additional student vouchers may be made available above 3,500.

For students who cannot make it to the ticket offices or go online before the first 3,000 vouchers are distributed, the Department of Athletics will also hold 500 additional spots on a first-come, first-serve basis in the Retro Fitness student seating section for release on game day with a valid student I.D. for Towson students. The 500 vouchers will be distributed at Gate C of Johnny Unitas® Stadium starting at 90 minutes prior to game time.

All students with game vouchers will be allowed into the stadium after showing their student I.D. Students with a game voucher can be admitted through all gate entrances. All students without game vouchers will need to swipe their student I.D. at Gate C only in order to receive a game voucher from the remaining allotment. Students will only be allowed to receive one game voucher with their student I.D.
