TOWSON, Md. - Here are 10 things everyone should know before the Tigers host St, Francis at Unitas Stadium on Saturday evening.
1) Senior defensive end Romale Tucker enters Saturday's game as the No. 1 tackler among CAA defensive linemen.
2) St. Francis comes into tonight's game with a two-game winning steak and a 2-1 record.
3) Sophomore Terrance West needs three more rushing touchdowns to break the Tigers' career record of 33, set by Jason Corle.
4) Tonight's game marks the fourth time that Towson is playing its Homecoming Game at night. The Tigers are 2-1 when Homecoming is a night game, including last year's 42-17 win over Colgate.
5) Towson is one of five Colonial Athletic Association teams that is ranked among the FCS Top 20. Old Dominion, James Madison, Delaware and New Hampshire are also ranked.
6) St. Francis is ranked sixth in NCAA FCS, averaging 302 rushing yards per game.
7) Towson won seven Colonial Athletic Association games last year en route to its first Colonial Athletic Association championship.
8) Sophomore wide receiver Spencer Wilkins ranks eighth in the Colonial Athletic Association with 65.0 receiving yards per game.
9) Towson place kicker D.J. Soven has made nine of ten field goal attempts in his career.
10) With 1,483 career rushing yards, sophomore Terrance West needs only 136 yards to move into 10th place on Towson's all-time rushing list.
