BATON ROUGE, La. - After a long flight from Baltimore, the Tiger football team arrived here this afternoon and the Tigers got their first look at Tiger Stadium, one of the most historic venues in college football on Friday afternoon.
Coach Rob Ambrose and the Tigers held a walk-through practice before a thunderstorm caused an early end to the session.
Although Tiger Stadium was a quiet and peaceful place on Friday afternoon, it won't be that way on Saturday evening when more 90,000 LSU fans jam their way into Tiger Stadium to help their LSU Tigers win.
"It will be very important that we maintain our focus in that environment," said Coach Ambrose. "We also have to believe in ourselves. If we can find a way to run the football, we will be able to do some things."
Towson faces LSU on Saturday night at 7:02 EDT. The game will be televised by ESPNU.
