A member of the Tigers' staff since March of 2009, Director of Football Operations Jon Dahlquist is one of the most valuable members of the Tiger football program.

In his role as the Director of Football Operations, he handles all the details involved with the Tiger football program and coordinates all travel plans.

A native of Worcester, Mass., Dahlquist served as the Director of Football Operations at the University of Connecticut for two years.

"To get an experienced Director of Football Operations from a BIG EAST school is a coup for our football program and we are very fortunate to have Jon," said Coach Rob Ambrose. "His detailed knowledge has been a real help to me and it has helped our football program grow at a faster pace."

Dahlquist brought a tremendous amount of football administrative experience to Towson. Most recently, he spent two years as the Director of Football Operations at Connecticut where he worked for Coach Randy Edsall.

While earning his B.A. degree in Education from Connecticut in 2003, he worked as an operations and recruiting assistant for the Huskies' football program. During that time, he learned the trade from Don Corzine, UConn's Director of Football Operations for six years. Corzine has been a member of the scouting staff for the Arizona Cardinals of the National Football League for the last five years.

In 2005, Dahlquist worked in Tampa with the operations branch of NFL Europe's Berlin Thunder as the team prepared for the season. He managed all daily football operations during the team's camp, including room assignments and meals. He also made passport arrangements for the players and managed league financial matters.

During the 2005 college football season, he returned to his hometown and volunteered as the Director of Football Operations at the College of Holy Cross.

In that role, he helped Coach Tom Gilmore lead the Crusaders to a 6-5 record, the program's first winning season in five years.

During his undergraduate years at UConn, he served as a manager for Coach Jim Calhoun and the men's basketball team from 1999 to 2002. In 2001-02, he was the manager of a UConn team that compiled a 27-7 record, won the BIG EAST Conference championship and reached the Elite Eight round of the NCAA Tournament.

While attending UConn, he also served an internship in the Development Office at the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in Springfield, Mass. In addition, he was a marketing intern for the Hartford Wolf Pack of the American Hockey League.

Dahlquist earned his Master's degree in Education from UConn in May, 2005. While working towards his Master's degree, he served as a graduate assistant for the Huskies' football program.

On July 23, Jon was married to Trisha Bagley of East Hartford, Conn. The Dahlquists reside in the Baltimore area.
