Freshman Hollie Garber sat down with for a brief getting-to-know-you chat. So far this season she has started three of four games and scored her first career goal at Mount St. Mary's on August 24.

Why did you choose to play for Towson?
I chose to play for Towson because I really liked the location and the team. All of the players were very welcoming when I went on my first visit. Also, it's a perfect distance from home: not too close, not too far.

What's your favorite thing to do when you're not playing soccer?

When I'm not playing soccer I love to listen to and play music. My iPod is always nearby, and I listen to everything from country to alternative to rap. I also love attending concerts; it is one of my favorite things to do.

What was your favorite part about camp?

During camp I really liked getting to know all the other players better. Since we spent so much time together in the dorms, I really learned a lot about everyone. We all bonded and had fun together.

If you could trade places with any other person for a week, famous or not, living or dead, real or fictional, with whom would it be and why?
I would love to trade places with Abby Wambach for a day. Her abilities on the soccer field are amazing. She is such an inspiration for girls who play soccer all over the country, and I'd really like to know what that feels like.

What's the first thing you'd do with $1 million?
If I had a million dollars, I'd buy myself tickets for a trip to Bonnaroo, a music festival in Tennessee that I'd love to go to but can't afford. Then I'd send my grandma, parents, brother, and sister on a trip to Hawaii because I know how much my sister wants to go there. I'd donate some and then save the rest to pay for medical school.
