TOWSON, Md. - Senior centerfielder Erika Stasch finished her Towson career in fine form, finishing the 2012 season with the most home runs (seven) and most runs batted in (37) on the Tigers. She hit .318 in her final season and led the team with a .580 slugging percentage.
But what made Stasch's career so special was doing the little things to help her team win. Stasch made just four errors in her entire career while patrolling the outfield, finishing with a .989 fielding percentage. Stasch also had a 90.0 stolen base percentage, swiping 27-of-30 bags in her career.
Stasch's 218 career games played ties her for 14th on the Tiger all-time list, had 163 career hits and drove in 88 runs. Her RBI total is good for the 11th-most at Towson and her 108 career runs scored ties her for the eighth-best mark.
Stasch was also adept at identifying pitches, displaying excellent plate discipline and drawing 92 career walks. That is the second-most in school history.
