POTOMAC FALLS, Va. - Former Tiger golfer David Hutsell, '93 fired an eight-under par score of 208 to claim his second straight Middle Atlantic PGA Professional Championship at the Trump National Golf Club.

After opening the tournament with a round of five-under par on Monday, he extended his lead to nine-under par on Tuesday by firing a round of 68. In the final round on Wednesday, he shot a one-over par score of 73.

John O'Leary, PGA director of instruction at Hidden Creek Country Club, finished second with a score of five-under par.

"I put myself in some tough spots on the final holes, but thankfully, I played well enough up until then to allow myself some breathing room," Hutsell said. "John kept the pressure on me and forced me to stay aggressive."

For Hutsell, it marked his third championship this year. He also was named as the PGA Professional national champion and won the Maryland Open. In addition, he recently competed in the PGA Championship.
