TOWSON, Md. - Towson sophomore Kaitlin Burke, the reigning Colonial Athletic Association Rookie of the Year, won the 100-yard freestyle event Saturday against Maryland, her fourth victory in the event this season.

Burke's other wins in the event this season have come against William & Mary Oct. 8 and Delaware and UNC Wilmington Nov. 6. 

In her young career, Burke holds three school freshman records, set in the 100, 200 and 500-yard freestyle events.
