SALT LAKE CITY, Utah - Former Tiger great Gary Neal and the top-seeded San Antonio Spurs finished up a four-game sweep of the Utah Jazz Monday night in the first round of the NBA's western conference playoffs.
Neal finished with 11 points Monday, his second double figure scoring game of the series. The guard played 18 minutes, shot 4-for-6 from the field and grabbed three rebounds in the 87-81 Spurs victory.
Neal, who was fourth on the Spurs in scoring (9.9 ppg) during the regular season, also tallied 11 points in game two of the series.
The Spurs will take on the winner of the Memphis Grizzlies/L.A. Clippers matchup in the western conference semifinals.
