TOWSON, Md. - Sophomore forward Nyree Williams blocked three shots for the Tigers on Sunday against Drexel.
It marked the third straight game that Williams has blocked multiple shots and gave her 18 in her last eight games.
Williams, who blocked a season-high five shots at Hofstra on Feb. 19, now has 43 blocked shots on the year. Her 43 blocks ranks ninth in single-season history at Towson and she is the first Tiger to reach 40 blocks in a single season since Katrina Wheeler did so during the 2008-09 season.
