TOWSON, Md. - All of Towson University's football games for the next two seasons will be broadcast live on FOX 1370-AM Sports Radio in Baltimore, it has been announced by Mike Hermann, the Director of Athletics at Towson University, and Bob Pettit, the general manager of FOX Sports Radio.

In addition to the weekly play-by-play broadcasts of Tiger football, FOX 1370 AM Sports Radio will also broadcast Coach Rob Ambrose's show every week during the season.

"At FOX 1370 Sports Radio, we are excited to part of Tiger football for the 2010 and 2011 seasons," said Pettit. "Towson fans and alumni throughout central Maryland, Washington, D.C. and Northern Virginia can now follow Tiger football action on our 50,000-watt sports powerhouse!

"Towson football is Baltimore's NCAA team with tens of thousands of students and alumni in the area," he added. "We want to make sure everyone can follow the play-by-play action on Saturdays as well as during the week with Rob Long, Stan Charles and Jerry Coleman. Last season, the Rob Ambrose Coaches' Show on FOX 1370 Sports Radio was a big hit with the fans visiting the live broadcast at Bill Bateman's Bistro in Towson and listening to the show on the radio. We are planning to continue the tradition with a live show every week.

"Towson football and the Rob Ambrose Show will add to our great lineup on FOX 1370 Sports Radio," he concluded.

Hermann said, "We are excited to partner with FOX 1370 Sports Radio to broadcast Tiger football games over the next two seasons. Our football program will benefit from the station's strong signal and its growing local sports lineup.

"Our partnership with FOX 1370 Sports Radio actually began last football season when the station was the home for the weekly Rob Ambrose Show," Hermann added. "We were impressed with the professionalism that was demonstrated every week. We are looking forward to working together to share the excitement of Tiger football with the Baltimore sports community over the next two seasons."
