Tiger Update: Towson dropped a tough 72-68 decision in overtime to James Madison on Thursday night ... Shanae Baker-Brice scored a career-high 32 points in the loss ... Baker-Brice also broke the school's career scoring mark with her lay-up in overtime ... Haliena Snowden had a "double-double" in the loss ... Baker-Brice leads the Tigers on the season as she is averaging 19.4 points per game and 4.7 rebounds per game ... Snowden is leading the team in rebounding while averaging 6.5 rebounds per game.

Panthers Update:  The Panthers lost their third straight after dropping a 76-60 decision to VCU on Thursday ... Jylisa Williams came off the bench to score 20 points in the loss ... Danyiell McKeller leads the team on the season as she is averaging 18.9 points per game.

Series History: Today's game will be the ninth in the all-time series. Georgia State leads the series 5-3. However the Tigers have won three straight in the series including a sweep of both games last season.

30 Something: Shanae Baker-Brice exploded for a career-high 32 points against James Madison on Thursday night. It was the first time in her career, Baker-Brice had scored 30+ points in a game. It was also the first time a Tiger had scored 30 points or more in a game since Tierra Jackson did it in 2005. Baker-Brice has now scored in double digits 65 times in her career.

Double Your Pleasure: Senior forward Haliena Snowden posted her third "double-double" of the season against James Madison. Snowden finished with 15 points and 11 rebounds. The Tigers now have four "double-doubles" on the season (Dovile Miliauskaite has the other one).

Take Me To Your Leader: Towson has a new career scoring leader following Thursday night's game. Senior guard Shanae Baker-Brice's 32 points gave her 1,557 for her career. That breaks Danielle Barry's mark of 1,555. 

Banging The Boards: Senior forward Katrina Wheeler made her return to the line-up after missing two games a solid one. Wheeler posted a season-high 15 rebounds against James Madison. That total was one shy of Wheeler's career-high. Wheeler would also add eight points, a block and a steal in the contest.

What's On Tap?: Towson returns home for two straight following today's contest ... Towson hosts UNC Wilmington on January 21 in a special 11:30 a.m. start ... the Tigers remain home to host Old Dominion on January 24 at 2 p.m.
