Kandace Davis pulled down a season-high 14 rebounds while adding seven points ... Davis' rebounds also tied her career-high ... Shanae Baker-Brice leads the Tigers on the season as she is averaging 19.1 points per game.

Seahawks Update: UNC Wilmington dropped a 78-69 decision to Hofstra in overtime on Sunday ... Greta Luksyte had 18 points in the contest while Martha White contributed 10 points and a team-high eight rebounds ... Brittany Blackwell is averaging 13.3 points per game and 8.3 rebounds per game on the season. 

Series History: Today's game will be the 14th in the all-time series. UNC Wilmington leads the series 7-6. The Tigers have won three of the last four including a 63-54 win last year at home.

Haven't I Seen You Before: Today's game will be a reunion of sorts for two Towson players and one from UNC Wilmington. The Tigers' Simona Petronyte and Dovile Miliauskaite along with UNCW's Greta Luksyte all hail from Vilnius, Lithuania.

Cleaning The Glass: Since CAA play began on January 3, the Tigers have succeeded in outrebounding their opponents. Towson holds a 45.2 to 42.4 edge in rebounding average. The Tigers have seven players who have grabbed 10 or more rebounds during that stretch. That group is led by Haliena Snowden and Kandace Davis who are avearging 7.4 rebounds per game while playing in all five games. Katrina Wheeler has played in three of the five games and is averaging 7.7 rebounds per game.

Early Morning Risers: The Tigers and UNC Wilmington will meet in a special 11:30 a.m. start time today. The game has an early start time as part of the Tigers' Education Day as the middle school students from Baltimore County will be in attendance. The students will get a tour of Towson's campus, attend the game and hear from astronaut Don Thomas.

Rebounding Machine: Kandace Davis posted a season-high 14 rebounds against Georgia State. That number also tied her career-high. She has 691 career rebounds for the Tigers, which is eighth on the school's career rebounding list. She is nine rebounds away from becoming the eighth player in school history to reach 700 rebounds for her career and 13 rebounds away from moving into a tie for seventh on the career rebounding list at Towson.

What's On Tap?: Towson remains home to host Old Dominion on Sunday afternoon at 2 p.m. ... following that game the Tigers will take to the road to visit Delaware and James Madison closing out the month of January.
