TOWSON, Md. - Any basketball fans suffering from "Cabin Fever" due to 20-plus inches of snow on the ground are invited to join the Tigers men's and women's basketball squad as they host a pair of Colonial Athletic Association opponents in postponed games in the Towson Center this evening. At 4:30 p.m., the Tiger women's team (10-11, 4-6) hosts Northeastern University (9-12, 4-6) in a battle between two teams that are tied for seventh place in the CAA standings. At 7:00 p.m., the Tiger men's team (5-17, 2-10) returns to the Towson Center to host James Madison University (10-13, 3-9) in a rematch of a game won by the Dukes in Harrisonburg last month.

Admission to the rare doubleheader in free of charge. Fans will be asked to make a contribution to the Susan G. Komen Foundation for the Cure's Passionately Pink program. Parking is free and open. The campus shuttle service will operate from 3:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. on a modified gold route.

The Towson-Northeastern women's basketball game was originally scheduled to be played on Sunday, February 7 and was designated as the "Shoot-Out Breast Cancer" Game. In conjunction with Zeta Tau Alpha Sorority, the Tigers are participating in the Women's Basketball Coaches Association's "Pink Zone" initiative to raise awareness for the fight against breast cancer. More than 600 schools nation-wide are participating in the initiative this season.

Led by Shanae Baker-Brice, the fifth-leading scorer in the CAA with an 18.0 average, Coach Joe Mathews'  Tigers are seeking their second straight victory after pulling off a 53-48 upset win over defending CAA champion Drexel on Thursday night.

Coming off a tough road trip, the Tiger men's team will be hosting JMU in a game that was postponed from Saturday, February 6. Senior Calvin Lee leads the injury-plagued Tigers with an 11.6 scoring average. He is also averaging 5.7 rebounds per game and has 31 blocked shots. Junior Robert Nwankwo, who missed four games with a shoulder injury, is averaging 9.7 points, 9.6 rebounds and 3.4 blocks per game.

Both the men's team and the women's team continue homestands later this week. On Wednesday, February 10, the men's team hosts UNC Wilmington at 7:00 p.m. On Thursday, February 11, the women's squad hosts Georgia State at 7:00 p.m.
