IOWA CITY, IOWA – The Towson gymnastics program fell to the University of Iowa 194.150 to 191.800 on Saturday evening. The Tigers had seven top-five finishes in the dual meet, led by
Tyra McKellar who finished second in the all-around.

HOW IT HAPPENED- Cortni Baker led the Tiger effort on vault, scoring 9.650 for a sixth-place finish. She was followed by Noelle Harada who tied for seventh-place (9.625).
- Towson had two top-five finishes on the uneven bars. Harada finished fourth with a score of 9.700. Katie McGrady came in fifth-place, posting a score of 9.650. Arduino tied with Bridget Steffen for sixth-place (9.625).
- Arduino impressed in the balance beam, finishing second overall with a score of 9.825. McKellar tied for fifth-place, scoring 9.725.
- McKellar had the best Towson finish on floor exercise, placing fourth (9.775). Baker followed in fifth-place with a score of 9.725.
- McKellar was the runner-up in the all-around, taylling 38.350.
BEYOND THE SCORESHEET- Lauren Cahalan tied her season-best on floor with a score of 9.675 (T-7th).
Towson returns home to host George Washington, North Carolina State and William & Mary on Friday, Feb. 26 at 7 p.m. in SECU Arena. The meet will be the Tigers' annual "Pink Meet" and fans who wear pink are eligible to receive a $5 ticket.
