GREENVILLE, N.C. – The Towson University baseball team will play its final nonconference series of the season as they travel to face No. 25 East Carolina March 24-26. The series is set to get underway at 6:30 p.m. Friday, and continue with a 4 p.m. start on Saturday and a 1 p.m. start in the finale.

Vs. the Pirates
The Tigers and Pirates are meeting for the first time since the 1995 season. The teams played a doubleheader during that season with ECU winning both games, 12-4 and 2-1.
Grunberg Returns
Centerfielder
Mark Grunberg returned to the Tigers lineup for the first time in nearly 13 months. In the two games at Virginia, Grunberg went 2-for-6 with a double and two runs scored. He also drew two walks and was hit by a pitch.
