WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – Alexis Hios and Josephine Jung were among the top 15 individual finishers for the Towson University women's golf team during this past weekend's Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) championships. The Tigers concluded their season by finishing fifth overall and firing a final round 317 Sunday afternoon. The fifth place finish is the best in program history at the CAA Championships.

How It Happened

• The Tigers finished with a weekend score of 924 to finish ahead of William & Mary, Elon and Hofstra.
• Hios finished 11th overall after carding a four-over final round 76.
• Hios had a three-round total of 228 to lead the Tigers.
• Josephine Jung complemented Hios by shooting a five-over 77.
• Jung, who was 12th overall with a 229, had three birdies on the back nine.
• Jung had six birdies during the weekend.
• Jung was also second on par three scoring by shooting a two-under.
• Alix Lowe tied for 19th overall with a 233 despite shooting a final round 83.
• Lowe's day was highlighted by five birdies.
• Lowe tied for the CAA championship weekend lead with eight birdies.
• Jenny Buchanan was 23rd overall with a three-round score of 236.
• Erica Han finished with 27th with a three-round score of 239.
