BASEBALL: Mike Gottlieb Honored For 500th Career Victory TOWSON, Md. - Coach Mike Gottlieb of the Tiger baseball team was recently honored for becoming the first Towson coach in any sport to win 500 games. Prior to the Tigers' 7-4 win over Hofstra on March 22, Coach Gottlieb was presented with a plaque commemorating the accomplishment by Director of Athletics Mike Hermann. In his 21st season as the Tigers' coach, the Lynbrook, N.Y. native earned his 500th career victory on March 12 when the Tigers beat Mount St. Mary's.
