TOWSON, Md. -- This Saturday, May 3, is the annual Black & Gold Spring Football Festival at Johnny Unitas Stadium. Gates open at 11 a.m., and admission and parking are free. The game concludes a month of spring practices in preparation for the upcoming 2008 season which begins on August 30 against Navy in Annapolis. The season opener will be the first time Towson has ever played a Football Bowl Subdivision (I-A) program. The Tigers will play a 12-game schedule in 2008 which includes six Saturday home games at The U.

Defensive line prepares for a new, more physical offensive line it will face in Spring Game
TOWSON, Md. -- The Spring Game next Saturday is a culmination of 14 tough days of practice for the Tiger football team. On Saturday, April 26, practice #12 showed that the team has made great strides since retaking the field in early April, and that despite injuries at a number of positions, fans will not be disappointed with the product on the field May 3.
