RICHMOND, Va. – Senior attackman Jonathan Engelke of the Tiger men's lacrosse team has been honored as a first team selection on the 2008 All-Colonial Athletic Association Men’s Lacrosse Team, it has been announced by CAA officials.

TOWSON, Md. – Playing in their final home game, seniors Blake Best, Jonathan Engelke and Brian Vetter combined to score 12 goals with five assists as the Tigers (5-9) snapped a three-game losing streak with an 18-12 non-conference victory over the University of Pennsylvania (5-7) at Johnny Unitas® Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

TOWSON, Md. - Looking to send its 11 seniors out with a win, the Tiger men's lacrosse team will play its final regular season game on Saturday when the Tigers meet the University of Pennsylvania at Johnny Unitas Stadium at 1 p.m. The game will be televised on ESPNU and WMAR-TV in Baltimore with Scott Garceau and Quint Kessenich calling the action. In addition, the game will be broadcast on WTMD-FM 89.7 with Spiro Morekas, '83 and Greg LaCour, '80 providing the play-by-play.

BALTIMORE, Md. - Senior attackman Jonathan Engelke scored two goals and added two assists while moving higher on the Tigers' all-time goals list, but the Tigers (4-9) were unable to overcome a strong second half effort from sixth-ranked Johns Hopkins University (6-5) as the Blue Jays pulled away to post a 16-7 non-conference victory over Towson at Homewood Field on Wednesday evening.

BALTIMORE, Md. - After completing their Colonial Athletic Association schedule with a tough loss against Villanova on Friday night, the Tiger men's lacrosse team will begin the final week of its regular season schedule on Wednesday night when the Tigers travel down Charles Street to face sixth-ranked Johns Hopkins University at Homewood Field at 7 p.m. It will be the 36th all-time meeting between the two teams.
