NEWARK, Del. - Facing 16-time defending Colonial Athletic Association champion Old Dominion University in the semi-finals of the CAA Tournament on Saturday, the Tigers (22-10) learned what the rest of the CAA has known for years - ODU is very hard to beat in the CAA Tournament. In fact, the Lady Monarchs extended their CAA Tournament winning streak to 49 games in a row with a 74-51 win over the Tigers in the Bob Carpenter Center.

NEWARK, Del. – Senior guard Jamell Beasley scored a season-high 17 points, including 12 in the second half, and added eight rebounds as the fifth-seeded Tigers (22-9) overcame a nine-point half-time deficit to advance to the Colonial Athletic Association semi-finals with a 62-53 victory over fourth-seeded Drexel University (18-12) at the Bob Carpenter Center on Friday evening.
