SHREVEPORT, La. - Despite impressive performances by sophomores Alise McDonald and Jackie Schweitzer, the Tigers came up short in their bid to win a second consecutive USA Gymnastics National Championships on Friday night. Texas Woman's University won the meet with a 194.70 score while Cornell (193.675) finished second. With a 193.100 team score, the Tigers took third place, just ahead of host Centenary (192.925).

SHREVEPORT, La. - Led by sophomore Alise McDonald, who earned a 9.825 on vault and a 9.825 on floor exercise, the Tigers earned a 193.20 team score to advance to the finals of the USA Gymnastics National Collegiate Meet at Centenary College on Thursday afternoon.

GAINESVILLE, Fla. - Competing as an individual all-around at the NCAA Southeast Regional Meet at the O'Connell Center, junior Annukka Almenoksa of the Tigers turned in a strong showing on Saturday night. Highlighting Almenoksa's performance was a 9.825 score on the balance beam, a mark that earned her tenth place finish.

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Junior Annukka Almenoksa and senior Decelia Willacy of Towson University will compete as individual all-arounds at the NCAA Gymnastics Championships and will be part of the field at the NCAA Southeast Regional Meet on Saturday, April 12 at the University of Florida. The meet starts at 6:00 p.m. on Friday evening in the O'Connell Center.
