Greg Torcaso joined Towson athletics in August 2023 as a strength and conditioning assistant.
Torcaso comes to Towson after working at Elon University as a sports performance intern since May 2023. He worked with the football, basketball and lacrosse programs, assisting with coaching and developing performance preparation for student athletes.
Greg was also a sports performance intern for the UMBC from January to May 2023. At UMBC, he coached all 12 Division I sports in the weight room, court and field, using Sparta Science force plates and jump mats to administer tests to athletes as well.
Prior to his time in Baltimore Torcaso worked as a strength and conditioning coach at Axis Sports Performance in Columbia, Maryland from May 2022 to May 2023. He led club and high school baseball, soccer and lacrosse teams through training, administered tests and evaluations and taught Olympic level lifting techniques to athletes aged 12-22.
Torcaso graduated from the University of Maryland in 2022 with a bachelor's degree in psychology, playing football for the Terrapins for one season.
