Tiger Hospitality

Home Football Games

All Tiger Club Members at the Black Tiger ($500) and above are invited to eat, drink and congregate at the Tiger Club Hospitality Tent, sponsored by Burkshire Marriott, located at the West end zone. The tent opens one and a half hours before kickoff at every home football game.  Admission is free with your Hospitality Pass. RSVP is required for all guests. Home Men’s Basketball Games

Join fellow Tiger Club members on the balcony for pre-game and halftime refreshments.  The hospitality area opens one hour before tip-off offering a variety of finger-friendly food and a cash beer bar.  It will close at tip-off, and re-open for halftime snacks.  We ask that all members take their seat in the stands at tip-off and when the second half begins.  Admission is free with your Hospitality Pass. Away Tailgates

Alumni, Tiger Club members, and football supporters are invited to enjoy refreshments and snacks before each away football game.  Details are posted under the 2008 Away Tailgates link on the football homepage. Please contact the Tiger Club office at 410-704-3939 to make reservations and payment.

Spring Football Game

Alumni, Tiger Club members, and football supporters are invited to enjoy a day at the “U” to see the unveiling of the new Tiger Squad as they run through a controlled practice.  Typically this event is held the first Saturday in May.  Details are posted under the Spring Football Game link on the football homepage. This is a FREE event.

Kickoff Luncheon

Eager Alumni, Tiger Club members, and excited football fans will meet and greet the Tiger football team and coaching staff at the Kickoff Luncheon.  The luncheon introduces fans to the current players and will provide them an opportunity to meet former players, who will be signing autographs.  Details are posted under the Kickoff Luncheon link on the football homepage. Tiger Tour Stops

Let the coaches come to you!  This event allows you to meet and greet with your favorite Towson University Head Coaches on your home turf!  A variety of different establishments will serve as your chance to talk about your favorite Towson Tigers.  Whether grabbing a cold glass of your favorite pint at a downtown pub, or munching on some appetizers at the restaurant down the street you and your friends can show your stripes and excitedly chat about the upcoming season.  For times and locations please check the athletics homepage for the Tiger Tour Stops.

Pool Party

Towson University Athletics proudly hosts an annual party honoring Towson’s Hall of Fame.  Typically held in September, this event features a Cash Bar, Cash Snack Bar, Silent Auction, Raffles, and Gaming.  It’s sure to be an exciting family event with Paddle Boats, Duck Races and, of course, SWIMMING (Lifeguards on Duty)!  Stay tuned for more information

Hall of Fame Induction

The Towson University Athletic Hall of Fame was conceived in 1963 and developed by Dr. Donald Minnegan and alumnus George Henderson to provide recognition for outstanding alumni athletes who excelled in athletics and who later proved to be successful in their life. It was also their purpose to cite those members of the athletic and sports staff at Towson who had materially and significantly contributed to the total development of successful alumni athletes.  Each year this event is held in the fall to honor not only inducted members but teams of distinction as well.

Minnegan Golf Outing

The purpose of the Minnegan Golf Outing severs three fold: to raise money to support the Hall’s ongoing scholarship program in Doc Minnegan’s name; to encourage fellowship among golfers; and in general, to have an afternoon of great fun and hopefully good scores.  Typically this outing will take place in June and have a 1 pm shotgun start.
