2025-26 Towson Cheerleading Tryouts

2025-26 Tryout Information
Spring 2025 tryouts are Saturday, April 5th (Time: 2-7 p.m.) & Sunday, April 6th (Time: 9 a.m.-5 p.m.). Please tune into the Towson Cheerleading Instagram page for updates as they become available.
Please fill out the Cheerleading Application (below) if you're interested.

Location:
Towson Center Arena (7500 Osler Drive Towson, MD 21252)
Please park in Lot 8, parking is FREE for both days
Times Saturday, April 5th (Time: 2-7 p.m.) & Sunday, April 6th (Time: 9 a.m.-5 p.m.)

Tryout Fee: $75.  We will not accept cash or checks.  After your application is completed, Coach Younger will send an email with a payment link. - Please contact Head Coach Eugene Younger (eugeneyounger@towson.edu) for specific details.  Payments are non-refundable.


Tryout Attire

Females:
  • Clothes: Black sports bras & black spandex or athletic shorts
  • Hair: Low ponytail and bow.
  • Complete/full GameDay Makeup
Males:
  • Clothes: All black, plain T-shirt, black shorts
  • Hair: Nicely groomed
TU Tryout Registration Process

STEP 1: Complete the 2025-26 Cheerleading Application. Paperwork is due Friday, March 28th.  After you fill out the interest form, you will receive an email from Coach Younger.

STEP 2:

  • Complete Medical Paperwork.  Paperwork due Friday, March 28th. 
  • Required Medical Paperwork - Submit as one PDF document attached to the email.  Do not attach documents within the body of the email.  Cheerleading Photo
  • Indemnity Agreement
  • Proof of personal insurance that provides coverage for intercollegiate athletic participation
  • Physical examination completed by a physician within the last six months (on or after Oct. 5, 2024) that clears the participant for participation in intercollegiate athletics
  • Documentation of Sickle Cell Trait Status.  Tests are typically obtained at birth (see pediatrician) or testing can be done at the University Health Center with a script.

Tryout Application/Medical paperwork MUST be presented by Friday, March 28th before participation is allowed at any open practices or tryouts.
