TOWSON, Md. – The Towson Department of Athletics will hold its Tiger Sports Day on April 16.  The event-filled day includes the nationally-ranked men's lacrosse team taking on Delaware at 12 p.m. inside Unitas Stadium, as well as the softball team taking on Elon in a 12 p.m. doubleheader at the Tiger Softball Complex.  The day will conclude with Tiger Bowl VI at 3:30 p.m.
 
The men's lacrosse game against the Blue Hens will be the Military Appreciation Game with military personnel receiving up to four free tickets.  The Maryland National Guard will have a vehicle display set up, while the U.S. Army's Presidential Salute Battery will fire their cannons after each Tiger goal.
 
Family Fun Zone
A Family Fun Zone will be set up inside Unitas Stadium throughout the day.  The area will feature face painting, balloon artists and inflatables.  The Family Fun Zone, which was enhanced for the 2015 season, will give fans the opportunity to see what they missed last season and what they have to look forward to in 2016. 
 
Parking
Parking will be free throughout the day at all the stadium lots.
 
Football Autographs
Select members of the Towson football team will be signing autographs after the conclusion of the men's lacrosse game up until the beginning of Tiger Bowl VI.
 
Green Turtle on the Track
The Green Turtle will be located on the track inside Unitas Stadium.  There will be food and drink available for all fans in attendance.
 
The Hollow Party to Perform
The band, The Hollow Party, will perform a concert inside Unitas Stadium after the conclusion of the men's lacrosse game.  The group will play for 90 minutes, up until the start of Tiger Bowl VI.
 
Pick Your Seat Event
Tiger Fans will be able to personally select their favorite seats in Johnny Unitas Stadium for the 2016 Season during the Spring Game.  A handful of affordable season ticket options are available starting as low as $100.  Seats available for purchase for the season will be tagged throughout the stadium.
