Photo/Video Access
Photographers must show their credentials in order to gain access to the photographer areas. All photographers are limited to the designated areas and may not enter the team bench areas at any time. Photographers must also be situated where they do not block fans. Local television stations shooting the game for highlight footage may do so from the sideline (except in team areas) or from the stands on the south (press box) side of the stadium or along the baselines in SECU Arena.
Outside photo/video media may not go on the playing surface at any time unless cleared with the SID. Failure to follow this guideline will result in the revocation of credentials.
Radio Broadcast Information
Broadcast positions for visiting radio stations are available in the Unitas Stadium press box (football/men’s lacrosse), press row in the SECU Arena (basketball, volleyball, gymnastics) and in the Schuerholz Park press box (baseball). Stations wishing to broadcast a game will need the opposing SID to confirm access for games.
Radio broadcast requests for contests in other Towson facilities will be granted on a game-by-game basis due to potential spacing issues.
Media Parking
Parking around Unitas Stadium/SECU Arena is limited on gameday. Requests for parking passes should be made at the same time as credential requests. If you do not make arrangements in advance for parking, you will not be able to receive a parking pass for the game.
In-Game Media Services
Game notes, flip cards and game programs will be distributed before each game. Box scores and scoring summaries will be provided at halftime and at the end of the game. Wireless internet is available for media to use at tu-openaccess.
Postgame Press Conference
Approximately 10 minutes after the conclusion of the game, a postgame press conference may be held in a designated area. Members of the Towson Athletics Media Relations staff will help guide members of the media to the interview area and an announcement will be made in the second half as to the location of the press conference. The head coach and selected players of the visiting team will be available for questions first, followed by the Towson coach and selected players. This will be the order of the interviews regardless of the outcome of the game per Towson and CAA policy.
If the Towson Athletics media relations staff does not feel a press conference is necessary, one will not be held.
Requests for specific Towson players should be made to the Athletics Media Relations staff. Interviews with opposing players need be coordinated through the visiting SID.
The locker rooms for both teams are closed at all times.
In-Season Interview Policy
All requests for in-season interviews with Towson players and coaches must be made through the Athletics Media Relations office. Media members may not contact players directly. Interview times will be arranged by the Towson Athletics Media Relations staff based on availability of both the player and the media member. Players will not miss class or practice time to conduct an interview.
Media representatives are welcome to speak with players and coaches after practice sessions but should contact in advance to confirm practice times and to arrange for parking on campus. Interview requests must come at least 24 hours in advance.
